Being just in an unjust world

The first two characters in the Bible who pleased God were Abel and Noah (with the exception of Enoch of whom there is not much detail).

Abel pleased God by offering the best of his substance. This depicts the time and energy you give to God in the form of offerings to the poor, relatives, your church and many other philanthropies.

Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: (KJV)

The Lord gave him his respect in return. The NIV bible says the Lord looked with favor… Therefore he will look upon you in favor as well and increase your blessings.

However this did not protect him from Cain. Spiritually speaking sin, he succumbed without his knowledge and was killed. Spiritually he lost the Crown.

Noah’s end was different. He was living in a very wicked time unlike Abel.

Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Look at the strength of the words… wickedness was great, every imagination (complete mind) was evil continuously.. What a time it must have been….

BUT Noah’s character we find was different. He was the only just and perfect man and he was able to stand his ground.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

How did he find grace?, By looking at the eye of the Lord and the result was “he was a Just and Perfect man.”

Gen 6:9 ……. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

and the Bible mentions he “was” and not “he became” a just man. He made a very conscience effort to be Just and Perfect from the start.

Today let us make decision in our hearts, a strong commitment to be Just and Perfect in this wicked world. In Noah’s time he did not have the Holy Spirit and the world was completely wicked, yet Noah was able to be Just and Perfect.

Today we have the Holy Spirit and Servants of God for guidance. The Holy Spirit which dwells in us, always is correcting us and telling us before we make the mistake..

We have to be constantly vigilant and listen to the holy spirit. That is look at Gods eye. Then we will find Grace and be rescued from Sin which is waiting to take away our Crown..

Psa 32:8 -9

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding:”

Lets us not be like a mule who looks down and not at the eye and needs to be driven with a Whip. Whether we look at the eye or not the Lord who loves you and called you will lead with the eye or the whip.

We need to decide which one we choose !.

Therefore dear believer WILL in your heart to be Just and Perfect. Don’t fool your self. The Holy Sprit who is abiding in YOU is showing you NOW your weaknesses. Let us confess to God and start looking at Gods eye…..

How do you look at Gods eye?… Every thing that happens to YOU happens with a purpose and for your own betterment,

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

When you take a walk even a leaf which falls on you has a purpose.

Mat 10:30 “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. “

Do you know how many hairs are there in your head.. neither do I.. But I feel comforted that God knows…. Since God knows every hair in your head he does know every problem and the effects it is causing on you too.

What ever trials, troubles and problems you may have, the Lord already knows how it is effecting you.

Go to the feet of the Lord and ask him to show the purpose of your hurdle. Soon the Holy Spirit will show you the points which you need to correct.. It will come to your consience.. WILL in your heart and correct them immediately..

It will be difficult, therefore ask God to help you. Life is a fight, so says the great apostle Paul.

II Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight”

And you will see your troubles not disappear but turn into blessings. Enemies (Cain i.e we have only one enemy Satan) will always be there but God will turn his attempt to Kill you into a blessing and will prepare a table in front of Cain.

Let us claim the below promise…

Psa 23:5 “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies”

God Bless you !
