WHO is Sin and are we MARRIED TO this Sin?
Who is SIN?
Many of us do not realise the seriousness of SIN…Do you know that SIN is a “Spirit”, a person, a living being by itself?
What is a earthly Marriage?
Let’s look at the implications of Eve’s fall, which was the first fall which happened on earth. Lord said unto Eve…
Gen 3:16
…and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
This is the circle of Marriage between Man and Woman after the first fall. This is a bond created on earth, which can only be broken in Heaven (where there are no Men and Women or marriages). If we look at this verse carefully…
Breaking this circle of marriage on earth is called a “divorce”. As you know this procedure of seperation of a marriage is a very difficult task on earth, i.e. Lawyers, courts etc. (Divorce can be a sin, but the purpose here is to show the bond of marriage)
How do we marry SIN?
Immediately in the next chapter we see another marriage taking place, between Cain and Wroth (anger), in other words between Man and SIN.
Gen 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
Look at the identical words in both the verses ‘desire shall be’ and ‘rule over thee’.
Cain initiated wroth (anger) in his mind. The owner of wroth (anger) and many other beastly characters belong to just one person, who is “SIN” (look at the word ‘his’ desire).
He (Sin) will come to your dwelling and his desire (or love) shall be unto you and you will rule over him, and this will be the marriage you create with SIN. (This is just like a marriage between man and wife)
Complexity of the marraige with SIN!
Take note of the words in the above carefully. You will not love him back, but his desire to you, will cause you to rule over him without your knowledge.
In other words SIN becomes your dependent, thus taking your time, energy and salvation. For example, If you were given a country to ‘rule’, this will take away all you have, time, energy etc, specially a country that is barren.
There is deliverance!
Today we have the power of almighty Jesus within us, it’s so easy for us as the holy Spirit intervenes and we are delivered by his precious Blood. But we cannot afford to take these teachings lightly & continue to make marriages daily with SIN. Should we continue to do this, god will give-up & let go. This is when SIN will have total control of us, & we’ll never be able to get out of SIN’S grip.
Implication of the marriage with SIN
IN will take away everything we are blessed with. Like an expensive barren wife who only wants and wants and does not give anything back in return (completely barren).
Pro 30:15-16
The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are …… things that are never satisfied….
Pro 30:16 the barren womb………..
Knowing this Truth!
Dear child of God, know the seriousness of SIN and the marriage it can create with you. Only one person can redeem us & Keep us away from SIN, that Lord Jesus. Let us pray therefore unto our heavenly father in order for us to be seperated from this spirit called, SIN.
That’s why Jesus said “the truth shall set you free”. Unfortunately many do not know the depth of the truth and continue to be lured into marriages with SIN.
Know the truth, Cry unto God and he WILL set you free from SIN today!
